Mit Ölfarben fängt man normalerweise nicht an zu malen, bei mir war es aber so. Nach Bleistift- und Kreidezeichnungen habe ich mich ohne Umwege an Ölfarben ausprobiert. Der Vorteil, dass die Farben nicht schnell trocknen, hat mich fasziniert und die Gelegenheit gegeben, das Bild zu ändern. Meine Ölbilder sind vom Format eher klein, bis maximal 80 x 60 cm, da auch schon vor 30 Jahren die Farben teuer waren.
Normally you do not start painting with oil paints, but I tried it. After drawing pencils and chalks, I tried out oils without any detours. The advantage that the colors do not dry quickly fascinated me and gave me the opportunity to change the picture. My oil paintings are of a rather small format, up to a maximum of 80 x 60 cm, since even 30 years ago the colors were expensive.
